When I was new to my current home, the postal carrier stopped to talk to me and asked what I was doing. I said I was planting a tree. He said “why? It will take 20 years to grow up”. 28 years later, the tree is still here and he isn’t.

Hopefully, we will still be able to save our planet. But we must first learn to respect all life forms and not abuse them in labs and stop slaughterhouses for good. NO more furs. Animals should have the same rights as humans.

I do not think most DOGS are that stupid and they still have plenty of fire hydrons

I used to feel sorry for these dogs in the kennel, but they actually have it better than most dogs living in houses. They have humans around that work there, so probably all day. They have each other, and get to meet new dogs off and on. They aren’t always on a leash, as they have a good fence. They are fed regularly and aren’t sent outside to spend hours and hours alone and then put in a crate for the night, and then again all day while the owners are at work. It’s a bit more like students living in a dorm or even senior housing. They have what they need, and they have each other.

New neighbor asked how I got so many nice trees in my yard. Told them the squirrels helped. If they wanted a tree, I would dig up one of the smaller ones for them and plant it in their yard, or give them a “do it yourself tree” AKA acorn.
