Read a story a long time ago saying that whenever Disney left his office, his secretary would make the first call to a phone tree to spread the warning. The code phrase used was “Man is in the forest.”
I remember when I was a youth, watching the brand new Mickey Mouse Club TV show and one day they did a short clip on Lemmings. I was watching in amazement, I was young and the sight of the lemmings plunging to their deaths over a cliff was, to say the least, disturbing. I kept noting puffs of smoke in some of the shots and when I asked my mother why that was, she said probably some of the crew were smoking. I later learned that since lemmings jumping off a cliff was a myth and they wouldn’t cooperate for Walt, he had the crew build a fire behind them and and give them the choice of burning to death or jumping off the cliff to be filmed for the children. “Super Villainy”? I don’t know, but he was an evil person without a doubt.

Disney “documentaries” and “historical” displays have spread almost as much disinformation as Faux “News”.

Fun fact, Disney wanted to build a nuclear plant to power Epcot. (How “Bond villain” is that.)
