Opal, if you can’t jump, how do you expect Earl to?

She’s not calling Earl an elephant, or she wouldn’t expect him to jump.

What comparison.

That’s what those mini trampolines are for - gets U jumping & in shape at the same time. Don’t know if I’d go jumping in a lake these days. Pollution &/or Gators & Water Snakes & other creepy crawling things. Large inflatable pool in the back yard sounds refreshing!

That’s all you could think of Earl? Not good!

Opal, since you can’t jump, why don’t you take a long walk off a short pier.

Ha Ha. I don’t think Earl realized what he did wrong just yet. Looks a bit bewildered there.

It wasn’t so much he was calling her an elephant as he was calling her a liar. Though she probably should’ve said it would be very hard to jump at her age and being overweight. I know how she feels, I played jump rope and all that as a kid too.

Yeah, at this age, I don’t jump for fear I’ll break some bones landing.

I’m waiting for a suspension of gravity before I jump

Opal, why don’t you jump in the lake by yourself? If you do, I am sure Earl will join with you to jump in the lake. Keep you guys cool off during the hot summer time!

If our moon had an atmosphere and an a blue sky like earth and she and Earl lived on it, jumping on it wouldn’t be a problem.

Boy was I in for a shock, when I stopped growing, (finally) and I jumped off the slide like I always did. When I landed, I felt like I’d busted every bone in both legs. I guess I grew out of my shock absorbers.

I have to diagree with the comment about Opal not being able to jump…seems she is forever jumping Earl about something important or not
