Pirates gotta be prepared. If you think there’s gonna be ice on the ship’s decks when you go raiding, then put on ice skates. There’s nothing like being able to do double spins and triple sow cows while in a sword fight.

A polite group of marauding pirates would’ve phoned ahead to let them know that guest were coming.

Definitely more dangerous than the Revenge versus green ship battles. Nobody ever gets hurt in those!

At least put up a slippery when wet sign!!

Good morning Crew.

We had an ice storm about a week ago. I went to several stores of all kinds trying to buy rock salt. They all pretty much laughed at me – they said they sold out of rock salt weeks ago, and wouldn’t be getting any more in.

It’s been mentioned before, they have a ship that can sail anywhere- why don’t they head to the South Seas for the winter?

What would OSHA say about icy conditions underfoot during hand-to-hand combat?

Yeah you could fall on your sword.

That’s tactical ice. You notice you’re the only one slipping on it?

You don’t want to slip with a sword in your hand.

It was 83 degrees here in North Carolina today. A little worrisome, given that it’s still technically “winter”.

Yup—nobody wants a slip-and-fall lawsuit while sword fighting. Sounds like trouble to me.
