An old Jewish proverb says “Man plans; God laughs.” It’s been around for generations because it is totally true. Here God is, He created everything and has the whole thing planned out before He started, and then we silly little mortals (whom He also created) come along and try to tell Him what to do. Considering His other choices, laughing at us isn’t bad at all.
