Yep. Cats are amazing in how far and how high they can jump when need be. You and the lads did right to turn tail and make tracks in the opposite direction. Brutus is not, nor has he ever been, in a good mood.

Jump on Brutus’s back, kitty, and dig in! My aunt had a cat that did that, successfully. (I’ve had two cats that chased dogs, even in groups. The dogs ran).

Ah, I’ve already told the cat and the missing tree story, but it’s worth repeating. My parents used to have a tree in the front lawn, the roots of which were lifting the public footpath, so it had to go, a few days later a cat was being chased down the path and jumped the fence and leapt for the now non-existent tree, the look of bewilderment on its face was hilarious as it landed on the grass, then sat back on it’s haunches and stared for ages up where the tree used to be……..

Purrcia! Always good to see you, even if it is up a tree.
