    Then you have politicians who pass laws whose consequences do not apply to them.

    Take for example, the do not call list. It does not apply to political campaigns and PACs.

    I’ll give advice, but if I don’t have to deal with the consequences, I’ll finish it off with a “but I don’t know” or “but that’s just me” to absolve myself of any future guilt.
