My late loving wife and I were both cat and dog people, and for a brief moment we tried to have a bird too. The bird was too much for my late loving wife with all of the squawking, it hurt her ears and head.
No, listening to your dog bark is not music to my ears.
No, your dog charging at me or snarling as I walk by is not cute.
No, siccing your dog on squirrels and bunnies is neither cute nor harmless. I have seen so many little animals attacked and left to die a slow and painful death as you walk away.
No, your muddy and smelly dog jumping on me is not sweet and endearing. (And not once has a dog owner paid for my clothes their dog ruined.)
No, stepping in your dog’s droppings on the sidewalk is not decorating my shoes.
And then one thing that seems to be new in my neighborhood, but rapidly growing every day in popularity: the owner actually picks up the doggy-do in a little bag and then drops and leaves the poo bag on the sidewalk.

They’re weird. Often the bird outlives them.

Well, he looks like a Yankees fan and there is no redemption for people of that ilk.

What about us folks that choose to enjoy an aquarium full of colorful tropical fish. A true stress reliever.

There’s nothing wrong with bird, fish, reptile, or rodent people.

I am a reptile person, honestly, and I am proud of it. I have had cats and dogs my entire life, and I loved them all, but I prefer reptiles.
