@Ling Today’s strip IS funny but a variation of a theme ,our HERO Mr Andrew Capp will have to go in or lose his dole :o) my avatar again is Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean grinning because he’s in a good mood like I am , how was your day, our FINALLY FRIDAY should be a little busy but we will cope I hope , we are both in a good mood ,no shopping or errands to run just keep inside the house , keep hydrated and wait till this evening when I will have my fav nosh minus any meat products , keep safe and a bientot pal

Rejecting jobs is hard work.

Andy is just being courtesy and neighborly. Those poor guys probably need the job more than Andy – he’s got Flo and Chalkie.

So they’re giving jobs to every Tom, Ron and Eric Andy don’t get one?

Much was lost when the strips’ makers abandoned the hand-drawn look.

Everyone going to the job centre looks like they should already HAVE a job.

He’s hoping that all the jobs will be taken by the time he goes in.

Reminds me of the one time I’ve been to unemployment in my life…stand behind the white line or no crispy greenbacks for you!

Tom looks a lot like the man who collects rent.

Andy works very hard at avoiding hard work.

Andy would never want to go to a Job Centre, since he can be like Dustin Kudlick: A lazy, immature guy who never can keep a job.
