As I walk through Troll Valley I shall fear no evil..

We all need recreation of some kind.

Last week I commented that the strip was similar to Calvin and Hobbes. The same is true of today’s strip. The Wizard seems to be turning into a fantasist like Calvin.

As those who follow my comments on Calvin and Hobbes (my favourite strip of course) will know, I have become one of those who feel that Hobbes is not part of Calvin’s fantasy world as I agree with Bill Watterson that Hobbes is “more real than any kid could make up.” Sometimes when Calvin returns to reality, we see the living Hobbes with him which I take to be another sign that Hobbes isn’t meant to be part of Calvin’s fantasy world.

Oh, what fun!!

I hope those are just plastic swords.
