I used to love getting those …. and promptly throwing them away.
Haven’t received a chain missive for a long time, probably because I ignore them.
I got one once, corrected the sender’s grammar and sent it back.

You ever been to Bayonne, New Jersey? It’s no laughing matter.
My dad fell for some of those where you send a dollar to everyone on the list…
And the day after that she started following “Crankshaft.”
Wait, how could she have had a sense of humor and been living in New Jersey?
In doing the family genealogy, I found a bunch of old attic letters from the EARLY 1900’s that essentially had the same format: Lies about ‘certain people’ and/or politicians.. Shows to go ya; “The more things change…etc, etc.”
I feel the same way about when people ask me to support their cause by copying and pasting their story on my home page.
