While it’s too long for a comment here, one of the funniest gator stories I ever heard came from a spunky little Mississippi sales rep that used to call on me when I was in the natural gas pipeline biz. Her daddy left her his annual gator hunting permits (which can apparently be bequeathed to heirs). So she went hunting with her dads ole gator hunting buddy, and hilarity ensued. Ya’ll will just have to trust me on this one, but I was crying I was laughing so hard.

That’s the Bayou paradox, if they weren’t hunting the aloe gator without shirts, they wouldn’t need to hunt the aloe gator at all.

I have heard those things are fairly widespread in the LA bayous.

The gator seems friendly enough. They might just be able to go up to him, introduce themselves saying “Aloe gator.”, and then ask for it
