I remember growing up poor and having assorted reheated leftovers, especially near the end of the month.
Too much food gets scaped into the garbage. North Americans waste a staggering amount of food, shameful!
If we poured too much cereal for breakfast, it was put in the refrigerator and you had to eat it for lunch, Nothing like corn flakes that had been sitting in milk for four hours.
