I heard the other day that this is not an Irish tradition. Just as well, since I do not like to be pinched.

Other things that are not Irish traditions is the corned beef and cabbage dinner (it’s American), but I do love that.

Wearing of the green is also an American idea. And all the parades…..

I guess we take St. Pat’s Day for a “live-it-up” day.

Do they pinch and bite for becoming green and blue? Green and blue clothes don’t hurt so much!

My late loving wife and I had a Catahoula Leopard dog and he could bite so small it was like a pinch, he could also bite like Rover did.

faith and begorrah, my last name is O’Connell, descendent of the ancient kings of Ireland, and Jeremiah The Bible Prophet took with the daughter of king Zedekiah of Jerusalem called Teia Tephi of the tribe of Judah, landing at Howth, near Dublin, in Ireland on the 18th. of June 583 B.C. and she was married into the O’Connell clan, so i’m Jesus’ cousin a couple of times removed, but from Providence (RI), not Boston….

Anyone see South Park? It was related to St. Patrick’s day pinching. I also discovered it was this year’s finale, only 5 episodes!

I have green and lavender shamrocks on my jumper, so that should count for St. Paddy’s Day.

They say that on Saint Patrics Day everyone is a little Irish. Except the Germans, we’re just Germans who like to party.
