Awwww! What a horrible, stark vivid memory Rory has about the event that changed his way of living. He never leaves the cold red barn without his knit hat and his pal-o-mine, Sheepy, now!

Many of my daughter’s barn cats usually have only partial ears after freezing them during the winter. They don’t seem to mind.

Your uncle could’ve had earmuffs, Rory.

Well, that changed the mood rather abruptly.
