I don’t get pep talks in the morning anymore. I’m retired.

A simple “I won’t” would suffice, Brutus.

She is being facetious Brutus or plain tormenting you.

I thought that was him telling her to ‘get lost’.

maybe you should draw a map to help him with his vocabulary while you’re at it.

Sometimes my stepdad would sing the old song “School Days” to us when we were going to the bus. He thought it was funny.

I didn’t get too many of those pep talks before going to work. But, the few I did probably met with similar reactions. But, I went out to work anyway. It was a job, and I was glad to have it. I had spent too many years unemployed not to appreciate paying work.

It’s the first Monday morning after Daylight Savings Time. I’m grumpy too.

Ah yes, the faithful wife at work!

“Will Mother Gargle still be here when I get back?”

“Yes.”

My brother was like Brutus… one didn’t talk to him first thing in the morning. (he may still be, but I don’t have to deal with it now)

For Brutus, going to work is a curse.

Garfield needs to share some of his smiling sugar buzz with Brutus this morning.

For a couple that has been married for as long as Gladys and Brutus, Gladys should know by now that Brutus probably never has a good day at work.

We will never know…..
