    Absolutely!

The best thing we Americans can possibly do, is to pump all the oil available within our borders out of the ground as fast as humanly possible (and get it into the air as quick as we can) because that way we will never be dependent on foreign oil.

Because we have unlimited oil within the United States and it will not only never run out, it will never even become more scarce.

    .

And all that other stuff like pollution, climate change, and the like, is all just Fake News, like Putin says.

I’d have some understanding of this cartoon if it weren’t for the fact that 1) Biden has approved more permits to drill on federal land since becoming president than the orange one, and, 2) the gas companies are sitting on 9,000 previously approved permits to drill on government owned land that they have not so much as parked a drilling rig on to date, and, 3) the oil companies just launched the largest drilling rig in the Gulf to date. Let’s cut through the mid-term bull$hit and focus on actual data and not the rhetoric of the right or left. Thank you.

That’s a wall of lies. Keystone would have just produced oil for foreign markets. Domestically, there are 4,400 drilling permits issued but not being drilled.

Supply isn’t the issue. Demand is. But Americans are such gluttons that we can’t wean ourselves off the black tar. Like it took the Arab oil embargo in the 1970s to shake people awake about their massive gas habit, we’ll need another one for all the fossil fuels we consume.

Be ready for gas prices to level off permanently. We’re never going back to $2 per gallon, just like we never went back to 33 cents per gallon back then. It’s a new world, and almost none of it has anything to do with Russia/Ukraine, or the world’s supply of oil.

About as far from the truth a possible. Tell a big lie, and tell it often, some people will begin to believe it.

So Mike, you are aware that the oil giants deliberately cut back on exploration to drive up the price of oil don’t you. If not then you deserve the higher prices.
