Many years ago, there was a Peanuts strip just like this one. Charlie Brown called, “Snoopy! Suppertime!” after complaining repeatedly that he hated it when it was time to feed Snoopy. Snoopy ran by, and ate his dog food in just one gulp, and CB said, “I just hate it!”

It’s amazing how much confidence dogs have in their stomachs’ abilities to identify and reject instantly anything that’s bad for them.
Of course, their noses are the source of at least some of that confidence.
