I was raised as a Reform Jew. In the ’50s I heard every antisemitic trope. My hair was light and my last name sounds German. When I was in junior high I decided to embrace the tropes. I talked about how we looked forward to eating Christian babies at the Passover seder, the pride we took in killing Jesus, and how cool it was to have the inside dope on the latest activities and plans of the Jewish International Bankers and their alliance withe the Jewish International Communist Conspiracy.
