They wait until Easter to make them? They really should learn to plan ahead.
so a cascarón is an egg shell or something in Latino Easter tradition?
My children and now grandchildren love the tradition of cascarones. The confetti all over the place is a reminder that my family was together and had fun on a day we celebrate our Lord and Savior rising from the grave.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing this tradition…. It reminds me of how people celebrate Holi!
Very informative comments. Thank you all.
Found some for sale at a Walmart here in North Texas. Dozen in a carton. Gave them to my daughter and her 3 sons. Boy is that gonna be fun today.
