The other day I asked an elderly gentleman “If it’s not too personal, how much were your Versace sneakers?” (with the name VERSACE in inch-high letters on the side). He replied, “Seven, seven-fifty”. That’s $750 for a pair of sneakers, folks!
Barney is a believer in never understating the stupidity of his consumers. The worst part is, the right person could sell that for $10,000. Just don’t know if the right person is Barney.

There are successful NFTs which are far less artistic than this tulip. Although the tulip might be a sly reference to the great Tulip Inflation.
