My father is a retired letter carrier. All the dogs he’s had over the years loved him just the same.

Our letter carrier carries doggie biscuits with him. Our neighbor’s dog (Jack Russell) loves him.

Our dog was getting a little too excited about the mailman coming by, so I put him on his leash and had them meet each other. From then on he would foof hello as he walked by.

I’ve found that it’s harder to train the dawg’s owner than the dawg itself. (Have the bite-marks to show for it, too… ) I’ve NEVER had a cat race at me and my friends, chase us for a good 1/4 mile, all the while chewing at our legs…
