Gherkin is now my word o’ choice for kid. It avoids the negative connotation associated with urchin. And who doesn’t love baby cucumbers?

I find the best way to see snow is at some remove.

Possibly on television, from the beach.

It looks like fun, but that’s not how I remember it.

Winter is one of my favourite spectator sports!

Gotta make sure the new parka works. No use buying it if you are not going to use it.

Plus you’re hot which melts snow and leaves it wet. Duh.

I hate when it is a beautiful day ~ blue skies, sunshine ~ and below freezing outside. If it is that cold, I want it to be gray and ugly so I’m not tempted to go out.

But, Amanda, you said you liked the cold weather. So why don’t you want to go out in it? Especially if it is an otherwise beautiful day (i.e. the sun is shining brightly).

That’s our Amanda…just keep writing those jokes for us. Don’t ever even THINK about going outside and enjoying a hard earned great winter day having some fun…. NOT You head right out there and build some memories young lady! There may even be a few jokes for your efforts!
