All through elementary school I was in the school chorus, a club, and sang my heart out. In junior high one took band, chorus or general music as their music class. I signed up for chorus.
About a month in the teacher was still trying to figure out what was wrong when he listened. He had each section sing separately and then had each student in the section I was part of sing on their own. He insisted that I was not singing the correct notes at the correct tempo and I was moved to general music.
To this day I say I was kicked out of chorus due to a disagreement with the teacher – I said I could sing, and he said I could not.
Per my husband – the teacher was. I also often cannot tell what song is being played if it is instrumental. My problem is that I come from a long line of “listeners” on both sides of my family.

They wouldn’t make it in Disney World. You have to be all inclusive there.

Do like they did with Miranda Cosgrove in “School of Rock”. Make him the manager.

It’s easiest to harmonize WITHOUT sheet music. If you can’t do it by ear, you probably can’t do it very well.

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young harmonize their songs. (That should be the birds’ names.)
