Quick remedy is to put a lovely tablecloth on or a family decorative piece over the damage. More lasting is have a furniture restorer refinish the top and it will look like new. It can be costly but forth it.
I think I’ve finally solved that problem. Since nobody will see it but me I can walk blindly by the piece of furniture without close examination. The cats do a great job of dusting too!
I found an article on cleaning an iron using salt. Never again! It scratched off the non-stick surface. I learned to use a damp cloth on it before it completely cooled then I use a magic eraser
A great stain remover that doesn’t ruin most surfaces, it also works on stubborn fabric stains, is baking soda and lemon juice. Leave it to sit for up to ten minutes then remove and wash with soap and water.

Welcome to Facebook dear, where your life is made worse and you keep posting happy pics so others would get jealous of you, for nothing.

Love the ‘Things that your grandmother never taught you…’ So stupid, draw you in and generally end with selling you something. No thank you.

No! It’s getting better. You just need to make the effect uniform across the entire surface.

Have you considered using painter’s tape to outline a pattern, and then continuing to create that pattern by “fixing” it?

Test a small area first, on someone else’s table.

If anybody does have a way to fix a table finish marred by spilling boiling hot spaghetti sauce, I’m all ears.

Been there, done that. I know the feeling all too well.

On the bright side: No need for coasters evermore.

Depends on the type of finish. Alcohol works pretty well on varnish or shellac if you’re careful. As they say, try in an inconspicuous area first.

Pile things on the table to 2 feet deep. No one will ever notice.
