It wasn’t the “wheel” deal.

So the question is, “Why didn’t hot-air Conestoga wagons blow up?”

Why didn’t they catch on? It could be because the prevailing winds blow the wrong direction.

The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

I’m guessing it has something to do with their wagons being wooden. Depending on how they set that fire in their wagon, they might have had a hot landing.

In the end people found out that Mr. Crenshaw was full of hot air himself.

Maybe the weight to lift ratio was too high?

Everything was going good until the tornado. They’re not in Kansas anymore.

After watching the recent series ‘1883’, I’m amazed the Western U.S. was successfully colonized. Those wagon trips were brutal.

Yeee hawwww! Keep the home fires burning….

They did catch on…fire that is.

The ones with hot air ended up in Washington D.C.

They weren’t very fuel efficient or directional.

Could be because they ended up in Manchester Township NJ during a lighting storm?

They did not have the oxen to pull the wagon that would have produced the fuel for hot air.
