When “having a ball” turns into “beaten by the ball,” you may want to change directions. You know, look closer at your ball bearings.

Our kitten loves balls, or anything that rolls when he swats it

If we can’t find him, our best kitten call is crumpling a piece of paper into a paper ball

Gotta say, “THWUD!” is some pretty good onomatopoeia.

When you get your azz kicked by a bouncy ball, it’s time for a beer and a nap. Not necessarily in that order.

Never play with anything too big to put in your mouth.

I remember having this happen to me with an exercise ball once.

Well, they don’t roll as well but they’re much easier to chew (My dog did it to my childhood blocks)

We celebrated my dad’s birthday the other night, and introduced my sister’s puppy (Hazel) to a balloon. She wasn’t sure about it, but eventually started playing with it and snapping at it—and you can guess what happened. She didn’t seem too traumatized, though. Mom fished out a small (4 or 5" diameter) rubber-ish ball from the old toy basket, and she was just starting to get the hang of playing with it. It was a little too big for her to bite.
