If you don’t know you should not be farmers.

Cash crops are what hedge fund managers garner, after they have stolen the investments of the rubes!

Cash crops, vote banks. It’s all political science, son.

The original Parker and Hart were at their peak during Vietnam, I believe. I like to think they would give this a thumbs up.

I bet Bill Gates knows. Right now according to AG Funder News (https://agfundernews.com/gates-if-not-for-climate-then-why-is-bill-buying-up-so-much-farmland), he owns 242,000 acres of farmland in 19 states. In addition, he owns 25,750 acres of transitional land and 1,234 acres of recreational land for total land holdings of 268,984 acres. His largest holding is in Louisiana (69,071 acres), followed by Arkansas (47,927 acres) and Arizona (25,750 acres).

Instead of a cash crop, it looks more like a cash crap…

He is being sadly ironic. The droughts are killing crops in the US.

Question: when we have farmers in America who can produce wheat, etc, why do we send our products to other countries and the govt pays our farmers not to plant?

It’s the same story in many other parts of the world today, too.

The insinuation was that the crop has been so bad due to drought and pestilence, that they can never make enough money to feed the family.

Obviously you have never been a farmer. Years of drought and pestilence can destroy all your hard work. There are NO rich individual farmers. They just get by. Only large corporate farming groups make any money. One reason most family farms fail.

Then there’s the “joke” about the farmer who won the lottery; they asked him what he’d do with the money, and he replied “keep farming till it’s gone”…
