The way the weather has been around here lately, the eggs might be harder to find outside if they aren’t dyed. Just yesterday we had a little bit of frozen precipitation throughout the day – it made me think of and then sing “I’m dreaming of a White Easter”.
Now the bears in my teddy bear village have just celebrated the spring bear holiday – the “Feast of the Awakening”. It is occurs on the first day of Spring. It involves eating huge amounts of food – even though they do not hibernate. (Their winter holiday is on the first day of Winter and is called the “Feast of the Hibernation”. It involves eating huge amounts of food – even though, again, they do not hibernate.
(Hey, we are in late 60s/early 70s, have no children, and have been stuck mostly in the house for the past 2 years so we play with the Bears in their village and in the Teddy Bear’s room, aka spare bedroom.)
