I’ve heard Buteo minutus many a time. (I’ve got a flock of them that come in for peanuts.) It’s uncanny how much they sound like a raptor.
I am not fond of trash critters. I am not ashamed to say I regularly capture them and euthanize them, for their own good.
My neighborhood has tons of ravens. They’ve completely taken over the area, even driving out the crows; there are still songbirds around, but they tend to keep a low profile!!
