what noisy boys, huh?
What would Blisshaven “sharing time” be without their running commentary?
It’s a non-reptilian crime against nature; also she’s losing the loving support of her betrothed!
I knew a fuzzy pink dinosaur would be really cool
Also I love that Kevin, who started us off in sharing time, and Marcus, function as a Greek chorus for this drama. Let’s hope it’s not a tragedy.
That last panel made me think of the “Hurrumph!” scene in “Blazing Saddles.”
It’s infinitely more likely that a pink and fuzzy dinosaur would evolve from our single-celled ancestors than that we’d end up with Homo bucketheadsis and whatever the hell species Dill is supposed to be.
If I remember, it didn’t start out fuzzy.
“Hubbub and confusion!! Panic and alarm!”
So, so good.
2012? Is it not it around that time the first furry Dino’s were found in China?
And Miss Bliss steps in with her book of facts and calms the room…except for one girl.
I don’t get it. It wasn’t pink and fuzzy the other day. It was green and dinosaurish.
It comes from living in Alice’s pocket after Alice handled it with sticky hands…
Marshmallow Peeps
Looks like Madeline has her all dressed up for sharing time… didn’t make it typical!
Anything like “Gloom despair and agony on me”? Woah!
walla, walla, rhubarb, rhubarb, peas and carrots, peas and carrots…
Hubbub. Like that.
Well, my world has certainly been turned upside-down!
Love it!
It’s the 1913 premiere of “Rites of Spring” all over again…
Clever girl… ☺
Attention achieved. Alice wins Show and Tell.
I suspect Kevin and Marcus present the very reaction Alice hoped for with her Show-and-Tell. And it is so very funny in context!
Seriously, folks, who believes in fuzzy pink dinosaurs? Bedroom slippers, maybe. But dinosaurs wear feathers, not fuzz!
