I got rid of my old mini van because of the nickel and dime costs. The last straw was brakes, I liked having it to carry things but with Insurance and tabs and repairs it wasn’t worth keeping. Also after my loving wife died I don’t need more than 1 vehicle.
At least Norm renews his tags! While here in Colorado I see cars with tags that expired in 2020 still out on the roads. Not to mention those still registered in other states, yet having moved here years ago. Grrrr, that’s tax dollars that should be collected to maintain the roads.

In Illinois It’s the " Office of the Secretary of State ", And we have those dumb stickers also…
