I want to laugh but it’s pretty sad. He has the record for career pass attempts and he just can’t stop himself as long as any team will indulge another encore.
This seems like a bad example. A great QB can put a merely competent receiver on the All-Star team, and can put a very good receiver in the Hall of Fame. SMART receivers know that.
Favre doesn’t need the money, he wants to play football. If he puts you in the playoffs, or gets you a Super Bowl ring, nobody will be complaining.
Bret has slowed a bit from his prime, I’m sure.
He has thrown a lot of interceptions lately, possibly pushing the ball to avoid being sacked (it’s just a guess).
But unless he has a hall-of-fame offensive line in front of him, he’s not taking anyone to the playoffs.
I’m not a football coach, just a fan, so I may be way off on this.

Let’s see: 30 passes per game, 16 regular season games. 480 times $15000 is 7.2 million. Barely pays the rent.
