My aunt was a nun (or as John Prine would say, my dad’s sister was a sister), and with Sunday dinner at her convent in Milwaukee, they served us fresh baked bread. Tasted as good as it smelled.

Is this a reference to something of which I’m unaware? I can think of a few bible verses dealing with bread, but none of them seem applicable…

Off topic, I just noticed that Gabby wears the colors of the Ukrainian flag, though upside down.

Maybe he did not answer the first two questions because the answer was self-evident.

I’ve baked bread since the start of covid. I’ll never go back! My bread (a no-knead one, at that!) is way better than any bread I could buy at the supermarket. And I always use the nut/seed mixture I order from King Arthur, which elevates this simple bread to artisanal level.

Some of the friars at EWTN are excellent chef’s.
