I think this was all Bruce Arians idea. Unlike many coaches who don’t know when to hang up their clipboard and whistle, ( looking at you Pete Carroll ), Arians knew it was time to release the reins and step back from the day-to-day grind. I doubt he’ll be that much of a front office factor, unlike a major PIA like Elway at Denver.
