And yet the coaches have no clue?

Scooooter is taller than Wilson? If yes, that only detracts from the story arc and makes it more inane and annoying than it already is

Uh, that’s not the kind of bat that’s blind, Wilson.

P1- Scooters batting stats are barely above the Mendoza line.

P2- Thinnest bat made. The Milford Toothpick.

So it’s okay to have a blind pitcher as long as you can tell him the signs?

So they practice in their uniforms? Do they have a laundry service too? Milford budget is bigger than we think!

I’m betting Greggg makes his first start tomorrow, 4/20, and gets lit up. So to speak.

Makes me wonder, if he’s that blind, how did he earn a roster spot as a pitcher in the first place.

Prediction: the first time Gregg tries to pick off a base runner, he knocks his own first baseman unconscious.

Looks like Gregg is ambidextrous. He can wear his glove on both hands.

I like the Wilson pointing to the bat panel.

Too bad Milford is so inept and behind the times with technology, else they could be using the electronic gadgets that the MLB started using this year to communicate pitch calls between the catcher or bench to the pitcher.

Why aren’t they using PitchComm? It’s legal in most high schools.

Well could P2 be any more contrived? Wilsonnnn OF COURSE knows what they’re going to tell him, after weeks of practice, plus the whole preceding school year, he magically knows that THIS TIME that they are talking to him they’re going to reveal the BIG SECRET.

And since it’s so blatantly obvious to Wilsonnnn, does that mean it’s blatantly obvious to the rest of the team? And just how stupid is it then that the coaches, who must watch the pitchers every practice have NO IDEA?

And speaking of ideas, one good idea would be for you to go read today’s issue of Mopped Up Thorp: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/

Oh, and another indictment of the coaching staff. I assume that Gregggg’s batting average so far in practice is a whopping .000 since he can’t even see the catcher’s fingers. That wouldn’t warrant any discussion? My question is, is this a sudden degeneration of his eyesight (that his parents are ignoring), or couldn’t he see last year during games? Is he supposed to be a freshman?

Milford is behind the times but this might be the solution.
