Ernesto Lacuna and Viola De Amour are 2 of my favorite characters in this strip, Petey’s friends and the love triangle members. Such interesting personalities and interactions.
My guess is that “Ernesto Lacuna Picto-Fictions” will fall flat commercially, if they even get to market. Petey, on the other hand, is patiently crafting a true work of Art about toad zombies, or Little Neuro, or whatever it turns out to be.
I stand with Petey, My Hero, and against the supercilious (and imaginary) Ernesto’s braggadocio!

why must everything be a one-sided competition between Ernesto and Petey?

At least Ernesto sounds like an author… Interview requests, photoshoots, podcasts, etc.; see my agent!

To a picky eater, the cafeteria food is already weaponized.

Unless school cafeteria food has improved a great deal, it was already weaponized when it was first served…

I think I should start referring to all comics as picto-fictions. Richard Thompson did quite a good job with today’s picto-fiction.

Petey would never get involved in a food fight, Martians or not.

Ernesto seems like he would enjoy being a cold-call salesman.
