Elvis is back in it to win it……but I wouldn’t bet on it!

I feel like Beatrix is sitting up just out of frame, bouncing the bell rope up and down like People with a cat toy – she does have thumbs, after all. The alternative is that it’s moving all on its own, and while I don’t want to completely rule out it being haunted (Elvis doubtless thinks so), we won’t find out until Hallowe’en.

I wonder if Goldie’s back turned ears in panel one are left over from her reaction to yesterday’s strip. She seems to be pretty excited by panel three.

How can we have gone from the joy of Saturday to the anger of the past two days. I just want the people to come home, break up the party, and put Elvis and Lupin in time out. This isn’t fun any more :-(

And I thought all wrestling was theater……with Sophie inspired costumes, stage sets, music…..Feeling let down at the turn of events.

I almost hope Lupin wins, and then a few weeks later a brown cat wearing a mask shows up, who seems familiar but nobody can quite place him.

I thought that The Man and The Woman were going to be away for just overnight….

With the Bell as the prize, the battle will be epic.

I didn’t realize no holds barred included biting! Given the motion line in Panel 2, I would say that they are adapted more to Lupin’s style and that this may yet live up to “Destroy the Furniture 2022.”

I love Lupin’s fighting style of going for the bell and completely ignoring his opponent. Great strategy Lupin! I’m rooting for you!

How come I don’t get invited to these kind of parties?

O.T. Maxine update

If Elvis gets that bell, it’s gonna end up somewhere that’ll have the vet scratching his head.

I keep expecting to see some “fur flies” floating about.

Update on Maxine:

Maxine seems to be calming down. The other kitten went home to Heaven a couple of minutes ago.

Because of the emergency operation and trauma and all, no vaccines until Maxine goes back in 2 weeks for suture removal. And we’ll start Sweetie’s vaccines again at the same time. Sweetie had her first dose but due to hubby’s sudden medical issues, she didn’t get her second dose.

Tom Dooley seemed Very pleased that Max wasn’t here last night. Maxine being house bound and held in my bedroom for 2 weeks will put his attitude Seriously in the negative range again!

Oh, boy. I think somebody cursed me to have an interesting life!!!

It just came to me that Puck reminds me of Adrian Adonis.
