Nope. Hyper-imagination of the child. Plus, most cats & dogs have this fear of The Vacuum Cleaner, so, to them, it is a Fearsome Beast that they attack to kill it, before it kills them.

Vanquished, but alas, the queen hath revived the Beast. An Adventurer’s work is never done! We shall try again tomorrow!

No matter. The victory is no less sweet even if the master of the monster is wroth. (unless you get a spanking)
