Before we met, my wife worked for a company that provided services for nuclear power plants. She worked in the department that did all the background checks on new employees. Obviously, she had to go through a background check as well. Lo and behold, when they started out, they found she already had an FBI dossier. She was not a radical or anything nor had she done anything that should have gotten the FBI’s attention. The only thing she can figure is this one guy she had dated some years before. He was a tennis player but he was gone a lot. She is thinking maybe he was really CIA (remember the TV show, I Spy?). That might get a file started on you.
