Finally got that hourglass figure she always wanted

Every so often he flips it over so she can turn the other cheek (or cheeks as the case may be).

That was my mom’s favorite soap opera too. I used to watch it with her during summer vacation.

I guess here time was up.

what a great idea! as sand through the hourglass, so goes the days of our wives!

She’s gonna burn again being on top of that wood mantle, chimney-less fireplace!

Time fly’s when you’re dead.

That’s an interesting way to honor someone. As a Catholic though, we’re actually not supposed to do things like that with cremains. There still has to be an acceptable means of burial. The ashes have to be placed in a certain type of vessel and buried in a cremation garden like my dad is and mom eventually will be or in a columbarium. We are not supposed to keep them with us in any way.

Too bad she only had one life to live. Now she’s in another world

Becky’s Husband had recorded Becky’s voice onto a playback device in the hour glass such that when turned over = as Becky’s ashes ran through – her voice would say: “Now, let me run through that again”!

Okay, I know I’m probably wrong, but I find that touching. (In a hands off, icky sort of way.)

Actually, I wonder if that’s ever been done?

Ummm…am I the only one who read this comic and immediately wondered how the smoke from that fireplace gets vented?

Might’ve been premature to cremate her – doesn’t look like her time is up yet.

Now THAT IS a very touching memorial to her……

I have my husband’s cremated remains in my bedroom along with our 4 cats and 1 dog.

Now it’s the days of her death.

A person can’t get any rest, even when they’re dead! Stop flipping me over all the time! You want entertainment? Buy an egg timer!!!!!!

As does my wife.

I assume Becky was his late wife? In which case she still has a function in that house even after death.
