Only a show dog would have such a long name, and a show dog he is not!!!

When naming a dog, the important thing is to come up with something that doesn’t make you sound stupid when you have to shout it out loud.

When I was a kid I named one of my dogs DEEOHGEE. When I took him to the vet the first time they asked how to spell it. D O G.

Jeeze. No wonder the painter drew weird sh…tuff! Can you imagine having to fill out forms with that? “Sign and PRINT your name.” Oh, Jeeze. Not again…

I almost named my dog Hoover as in the vacuum. The way he ate you would think he was only fed occasionally. He wound up being Babe and was mostly a good dog.

I’ve heard race horse owners have ordinary names for their horses on the paddock. Only on the publicly viewed race track are they referred to by those pretentious-sounding names. Example: “Archer’s Breech” at the track; “Billy” at the stables.
