No problems with Grackles. Starlings on the other hand. Early summers they always congregate around my back yard until the falcons take up residency. When they see one they take flight and 6 or 7 times per year we will hear a big slam where they throw themselves into our upstairs window trying to get away. Perfectly clean window last year the first one left a nice imprint that you could see the entire bird form at the right angle. I’ve invited the falcons to stay.

And boy are they loud…and screechy. Every time one goes off, while I’m on my walk, I jump a mile.
