I saw an article in a craft magazine about knitting with wire. I was just crazy enough to try it but soon realized I was sane enough to recognize it was nuts. Knitting with protective gloves was impossible and without was very painful.
Anyone who would make chain links out of wire is a better person than I am. I’m with Amanda ~ I would find a cheater way to do it ~ being the lazy person I am.
I tried to make chain mail art but got ‘winded’. For some reason I hit a wall after a bit and can’t function for awhile. It may be ADHD.. I was never diagnosed.
I had a job where I had to load small parts into industrial furnaces that ran at high temperatures. We had to fixture many of them to prevent warping. I got pretty good with baling wire.

My husband makes them. With the sterling wire. He got the hang of it pretty quickly. The right tools help.

Dan is a multi talented man. I applaud his efforts! What does he do with them? Hand them out at church?

Maybe the tedium is part of the meditative process. ;)
