Initially, I didn’t want a cell phone. Too much trouble, until we started shopping together in big box stores. They are a life and time saver. No more panic trying to find each other and ‘Did you get the peaches?’
It’s lucid dreaming. You can have stuff from the active world intersect with your dreams very seamlessly. Like phones ringing, alarms going off, people talking around you.
Dreaming one night, hubby said I turned on the flashlight and was pointing it at the ceiling. He asked what I was doing. Said there was something on the wall. He said to point the light at the floor. Pointed to the wall opposite the foot of the bed. He said point at the ceiling, I aimed for the wall behind my head. He told me to turn off the flashlight…
I have a condition where I talk in my sleep in perfectly clear and understandable phrases. My husband has gotten used to it over the years, but at first he asked me questions like “Who were you so mad at last night?” and “Whoever Jeff was, I need to take pointers from him.”
I asked him to record me one night, and of course I said nothing at all. But the next night, I had a very adventerous dream and boy, the voice work was good.LOL

My wife is like a ninja in a department or grocery store, and likely not have her cell phone or have it turned off.

I like how Rose quietly spoke into his dream, so he would stop worrying.
