in one early Garfield strip, Garfield had an itch so unreachable that he screams in agony, startling Jon
snargl is a perfect sound.
This is the very reason Farley’s ancestors, the wolves, domesticated themselves just to have their backs scratched. Clever?
This is my dog. “Just hold out your hand, mom, and I’ll do the rest.”
Now, watch Farley’s fleas get all over Elly!!
In the first panel, it looks like he’s saying “it”. The last panel looks like he’s getting ready to do “it”.
Maybe we’re supposed to emphasize with the dog’s pain, but what happened to the lady’s feet? She looks remarkably calm and relaxed when her feet look to be transforming into something hideous by leprosy.
Independence and self-sufficiency is wonderful. A little help is delicious.
Happy Canada Day!!! I would like to have Lynn posted a Happy Canada Day comic on this
I bought my dog a back scratcher but he thought it was a chew toy
Yes, dogs and cats CAN be that intelligent.
Smart dog.
Oh,there’s food around the corner….food around the corner….
One more scwatch and I’ll give you a bath!
Panel 3 – Elly’s elbow is on backwards. Her arm looks like it is extended back and not forward.
Car 54….. We have a drive-by scratching in progress.
I have a cat that will do that
Every dog I’ve ever had/visited: When they see an idle hand, they make sure to give that hand something to do!
Guess dogs also have that one spot they just can’t reach
Smart dog!!
I think a friendly goofy wolf wanted him tummy rubbed. Never looked back
I wonder if wolves like their tummies rubbed?
