I almost feel the same way, except for my father whose birthday is two days after (Gregorian) Christmas.

I still remember my 30th when I ended up buying myself a card and sending it to my mom to sign and return. Even put a stamp on the return envelope. Got it back with a face drawn in red ink. And that was 55 years ago yesterday..

It never ends.

Forgetting Mother’s day is more acceptable than forgetting her Birthday. Time to take Mom to the restaurant of her choice.

My mom’s birthday was Dec. 26. She only got one present that week, but it was usually nicer than the other kids in the family got.
