They needed bigger chess(ts)

Golf cheerleaders never caught on either.

Never did full-contact chess, but it’s day will come.

“Close to Home” did a similar gag with golf.

Reminds me of the 1996 SNL skit with Will Ferrell and Cheri O’Terri as Spartan cheerleaders at a chess tournament.

2 4 6 8, don’t look now, but it’s mate mate mate!

I was on high school Math Team, and we never got cheerleaders either :(
