It kinda is your fault, Calvin. You did create Hobbes.

If Hobbes lands on Calvin, he’ll probably croak.

The pouncer becomes the pounced.

They normally recommend against playing leapfrog with a tiger.

It has the same results as catching a tiger by the tail……

Mini leaper!

Some days ago I saw a very big frog in a pond, but when I wanted to fotograph him, he jumped away!!

That big frog just might want some little boy legs for its next meal.

LOVE that threatening look in Hobbes’ eyes!!

After all the times Hobbes tackled Calvin and roughed him up, you’d think Calvin would be entitled to a little payback.

Suddenly, leapfrog has lost its appeal.

I remember playing leapfrog once or twice in second grade. It gets old fast.

Tigers only like wrestling when they win.

Tigers take counter-pouncing very seriously.

Leap-Frog turns into EEP!-Frog… ☺

Calvin just needs to jump better. Imagine not being able to clear a tiger…

Waterson should have added some claws to Hobbes’ paw in last panel.. ;-)

A new and useful expression: “As safe as playing leapfrog with tigers”.
