I feel this so deeply. I’m glad I’m retired now – I can pick some day other than the first sunny Saturday in spring to go to the garden center; a cloudy Tuesday, for instance, so I can look around and make my choices without feeling so crowded.

Yes, they do. It’s like a massive mind control ray goes out puts the same idea in everyone’s mind. But still a holiday is a holiday so it’s all good.
